Student of the Month
The Intermediate HS's Student of the Month is Alexcia Moreno-Samuels. Alexcia turned in the most R.O.C.K.s for the month of December was nominated by Dr. Delpriore. He wrote, "she is kind, cooperative, helpful to other students in the class, and she sets a good example for the kind of behavior we’d like to see in all students."
Congratulations Alexica for being an excellent student here at the Intermediate HS.
Ms. Stephens Honored
Ms. Stevens is one of our Family and Consumer Science Teachers. What many people don't realize is that she is a 1984 All-American from Temple University in Woman's Basketball. On January 14, 2024 they recognized her at halftime for scoring over 2500 points and grabbing over 1500 rebounds. She has already had her Jersey retired and hanging in the rafters and they gave her a new Jersey (Number 33) to wear at all of the games. She was also part of the first all African-American All American team ever. I have attached links, pictures and videos that can be attached.
